Mick Jagger's daughter arrested

The daughter of the Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has been arrested in Spain following a hostile altercation with police.

Jade Jagger, 51, has being accused of going on a drunken tirade and allegedly assaulting several national police officers in Ibiza, Spain, according to reports by Page Six.

The reports claim that Jagger became "very aggressive and violent" when police were called to help mediate an altercation she was involved in at a restaurant.

Jade and one of her friends involved in the confrontation were reportedly under the influence of alcohol or "some type of substance".

Before the police were called, the British jewellery designer had a disagreement with restaurant staff, while her male companion began allegedly “shouting, threatening and insulting” them.

The police then arrived at the restaurant to defuse the situation, where Jade's friend "pounced" on the officers, while Jade was allegedly heard shouting “stupid police” and other rude remarks.

It is unclear if Jade remains in police custody, but a local Spanish outlet states she is expected to be “brought to justice” at some point on Friday.

Jade is one of Mick’s eight children. She is his only child with ex-wife Bianca Jagger.

The Rolling Stones frontman also shares daughter Karis, 52, with actress Marsha Hunt; daughters Elizabeth, 39, and Georgia May, 31, and sons James, 37, and Gabriel, 25, with ex-wife Jerri Hall; son Lucas, 24, with model Luciana Morad Gimenez; and son Deveraux, 6, with girlfriend Melanie Hamrick.

Sir Mick Jagger slams comparisons to Harry Styles

Sir Mick Jagger has slammed the comparison between the veteran rocker and pop superstar Harry Styles.

Harry, a former member of One Direction whose solo career has seem him rise to the top of international music charts, has often been likened to The Rolling Stones frontman for their similar look and stage presence.

While the 78-year-old rockstar can see the likeness in their looks, Jagger believes this is where their similarities end.

Jagger told Sunday Times Culture magazine, “I like Harry — we have an easy relationship."

“I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him. Come on, I was much more androgynous. And he doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine — he can’t help that.”

Harry Styles has long noted his love of The Rolling Stones, once calling Mick Jagger "the coolest man on the planet", and even impersonated Mick Jagger on 2017 episode of Saturday Night Live.

While being historically dismissive of the pop star, he has been accepting of his influence, even dating back to the One Direction days; as Jagger said of Styles in a 2015 interview, “He’s got it going on. I know him, he comes to see me in lots of shows. And yeah, I can see the influence. But I don’t say anything to him, I just tell him he looks nice. I like him. He’s very decent.”

The Rolling Stones are preparing to embark on their "Sixty" tour in June, with Jagger admitting that the shows have become more "challenging" as the band ages.

Mick said, “Rock’n’roll, or any kind of pop music honestly, isn’t supposed to be done when you’re in your seventies."

"Hitting rock bottom": Mick Fanning reveals life after punching shark

Despite fighting off a Great White shark live on television in South Africa five years ago, Mick Fanning says that fatherhood has been the greatest challenge yet.

The shocking footage was watched by thousands of shocked onlookers, with Fanning suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and nightmares of the accident for years afterwards.

It hasn't stopped Fanning from living his life, as he and fiance Breeana Randal welcomed their son Zander Dean Fanning just three weeks ago.

Fatherhood has been 'mind-bending' for the Penrith-born surfer, and is the pinnacle of a tough few years since the shark attack.

"For me, 2015 was such a down year," Fanning shared on 60 Minutes on Sunday night.

"I went through a divorce, had the shark incident and then at the end of it all I lost my brother. I was just totally empty at the end of it. I was done."

Fanning was also unprepared for the publicity storm after the attack.

"That was the one that just floored me. I was like 'what else? What else can be taken in a year?' At the end of 2015, I just hit rock bottom," he said.

Fanning opened up about the "emptiness" he felt for the 18 months afterwards.

"I felt like I had nothing to give, nothing to give myself, or to the people around me, or to family or friends. I just didn't see a way of coming back," he said.

"I've never felt that empty before, I just lay in bed, did nothing, wouldn't leave the house."

Five years on from the experience, he is now living with his wife-to-be and wants to grow his family.

"It's incredible,' he said of fatherhood. It's not real. These dreams are just coming back'."

He says sharing with his friends and family for support helped him get through the experience.

"I thought I was going to die. I guess everyone watching on from the beach that day, and on the live broadcast all over the world, thought the exact same thing," Fanning said.

"That's what helps, talking about it," he said.

"Not being shy to ask for help. There were times throughout the year where I was trying to hide stuff and my friends would be like 'what's up'. It wasn't just for the one, two weeks. It was six months, 12 months, 18 months."

"He never asked me how old I was": Actress claims she slept with Mick Jagger at 15

Actress Rae Dawn, the daughter of American comedian Tommy Chong, has claimed she spent a “fabulous” two days with Mick Jagger when she was just 15 years old in 1977.

Dawn, who played prominent roles in the 1985 films The Colour Purple and Commando, shared her underage fling with the Rolling Stones legend to the Daily Mail.

Dawn’s admission came after she claimed to have accidentally blurted out the news while taping a forthcoming podcast from The Hollywood Reporter.

“He wasn’t that much older than me in my brain. He was 33 and young and gorgeous with a nice body,” she described to the outlet in a quick attempt to get ahead of the story.

“It wasn’t a bad thing; it was fabulous. Totally rock ‘n’ roll. He didn’t make me do anything I didn’t want to do, but he was very vain, always looking in the mirror.”

Mick Jagger and Rae Dawn Chong in the 1985 Rolling Stones video, Just Another Night.

Now 58-years-old, Dawn says she slept with the famous superstar while he was still married to his first wife after meeting him at a friend’s home.

The actress was friends with the daughter of John Phillips, the singer of The Mamas & the Papas, and introduced herself to Jagger when they were both visiting Phillips’ home.

“He never asked me how old I was and I never told him,” she told the Daily Mail.

“It never came up. I remember thinking he was really cute. He had tousled hair. I thought, ‘Oh man, he is beautiful.’”

The pair ended up spending two days together in New York, according to the Daily Mail.

She insisted that any relations between the two was completely consensual and worried that the revelation would land Jagger in deep water.

“He did nothing wrong,” said Dawn. “He didn’t make me do anything I didn’t want to do.”

Dawn bumped into Jagger a number of times after the romance occurred. Years later he casted her for an appearance in the video for the Rolling Stones’ song, Just Another Night.

However, it seems their relationship as friends turned sour when Dawn publicly complained about Jagger’s “licky” behaviour on set.

“In real life, he was a great kisser, but in the film, he did lots of ‘licky’ things,’ she said. “I talked about that in an interview. He has a fragile ego. He hasn’t spoken to me since.”

How Michael Schumacher's secret plan has tragically ended

Michael Schumacher’s former manager has revealed the Formula One legend had a plan to manage his son Mick, until the 2013 skiing accident left him with severe brain injuries.

In an interview with Motorsport-Total.com, Willi Weber admitted the seven-time world champion wanted to help “his boy into Formula One and even manage him the way I used to manage him.”

However, the December 2013 accident in the French Alps ended that big plan for the father and son duo.

“Michael was anxious to get his boy into Formula One and even manage him,” Weber said. “That would have been a great story. He would have loved that.”

Weber said Michael would have made a great manager due to his extensive experience in Formula One.

“Michael knew which teams he could speak to and how it works because he garnered many years of experience. That was his grand ambition,” said Weber.

Mick Schumacher has recently moved up to F2 racing after winning the European Formula Three Championship last year. Earlier this month, the 20-year-old drove in his first F1 test for Ferrari in Bahrain.

Ferrari’s Formula One team leader Mattia Binotto said the way Mick works reminds him of the young racer’s father.

“The very first time I saw him after many years … I looked at him, and I didn't think he’s really looking similar to Michael,” said Binotto, as reported by motorsport.com.

“But the way he’s behaving is very similar, and the way he approached the exercise, the way he’s interested in the car, discussing with technicians.

“And I think that’s a bit similar to his father.”

Mick said he is looking to get into Formula One as “a complete racing driver”, but he is not in a hurry to do so.

“Obviously it's my first year in F2, we'll see how it goes,” he said.

“I want to arrive into F1 being a complete racing driver, being as prepared as possible … I think time will tell if that’s next year, if that’s the years to follow, really. So, I'm taking it one step at a time.”

Michael Schumacher’s son opens up in new heartbreaking interview

In a new interview, Michael Schumacher’s son has opened up about his “idol” father and the happy times they shared together before the icon’s devastating ski accident.

Speaking on Germany’s TL channel on the weekend, 19-year-old Mick Schumacher’s comments provided a heartbreaking glimpse into his family life following his father’s accident, which took place in France on 29 December 2013.

Speaking of his Formula 1 legend father, Mick said: “My dad asked if we wanted to do it professionally or just for fun, on a hobby level.

“Of course, I said it clearly – I want to do it professionally.

“We drove on days when the track was closed, and we were allowed to do our laps there.

“All the refining we did to be faster was also a lot. That was always the best time.”

Mick, who is now the European Formula 3 champion, said he doesn’t mind being compared to his dad.

“I do not mind it that way. I would always compare myself with the best, and my dad is the best, and he’s my idol too,” he said.

Although Mick said being the son of his famous father has opened doors and made things easier for him, after the races and success, “you are sitting there alone”.

Michael’s family have shared little details about his condition and the seven-time world champion has not been seen in public since the devastating accident.

Last week, Mick’s close friend, Nicklas Nielsen, said he talks little about his father’s health status.

Talking to Danish newspaper BT, Nicklas said: “Mick does not say he is sad about his father. He just said sometimes that it is sometimes hard.

“I know him very well, also privately. He is a very quiet and calm guy. I still do a little karting with Ralf Schumacher and his team and nobody talks about it.”

Reportedly, the racing legend is receiving special medical care at his Lake Geneva home.

Recently, a letter written by Michael’s wife, Corinna Schumacher, described him as a “fighter”.
